Ana Ugrinović, literary editor and translator, has a degree in dramaturgy. She has worked as literary editor at several publishing companies: Sanje (2002–2003), Učila (2003–2005), Mladinska knjiga (2005–2014) and Cankarjeva založba (2014). In 2018, she was one of the finalists in British Council’s international competition for best young editor. Her translation of the novel A Monster Calls (Patrick Ness, Mladinska knjiga, 2013) received the Zlata hruška (Goldern Pear) Award for best young adults novel translation. She is the editor of the young adults story collection Od genov do zvezd (From Genes to Stars) by Sašo Dolenc (Cankarjeva založba, 2015) that received the Zlata hruška quality mark in the category of young adults non-fiction. She also edited the text of the book The Unforgettable: The Women Pushing the Boundaries of Our World.
